My visual marching arts services are the perfect pairing for a band director whose strong suit is music (and not necessarily movement), or for an educator who simply desires to outsource the visual component.
CAMPS & CLASSES
Movement for Marching Band
Get your marchers moving like your color guard members! Through a series of tutorials, I'll teach basic stretch and movement combinations, proper movement technique, and underbody options you can add to your drill.
This class can be virtual or in person.
Leadership Camp
Your leadership team is the backbone of your program. In this class, your drum majors, captains, and section leaders will learn to teach, support, and develop a positive culture through a series of team-building exercises and branding/marketing techniques. They'll be ready to implement your program's values in just 4 hours!
This camp can be virtual or in-person.
Rookie Camp
This 4-hour class should be attended by the new members of your program AND your leadership team. Ideal for the beginning of your season, we will focus on team-building elements, instrument & equipment maintenance, program philosophy, and basic fundamentals so your newest members start the season off on the LEFT foot.
This camp can be virtual or in-person.
Stretch & Conditioning Block
Bands typically spend way too much time stretching and not enough time conditioning. With this service, I’ll design your band a proper visual warm-up that includes both without eating up too much of your rehearsal time.
This service can be virtual or in-person.
Character Development Class
It’s not enough to march, play, and spin anymore… In this beginning theatre class, we’ll establish how to find, develop, and embody the characters, emotions, facial expressions, body language, and thematic elements of your show.
This class can be virtual or in-person.
DESIGN & CLINICIAN SERVICES
Visual / G.E. Clinic
In a clinic, I will personally work with your band members on proper stretch, conditioning, technique, under-body choreography, or any other visual or general effect items you request.
All clinics must be held in-person.
Visual / G.E. Consultation
In a private consultation, I’ll work alongside your band director, color guard director, and or visual team to provide visual and general effect feedback that can be utilized in later rehearsals.
Consultations can be virtual or in-person.
Wind Choreography
Is the visual caption holding you back on your judges’ tapes? Send me your drill and I’ll write underbody that keeps your marcher’s airways open and their posture properly aligned.

Meet The Instructor
Hi, I’m Bethany! I’m a Visual & Color Guard Director in Franklin, TN, with an extensive background in movement, marching, design, and program building.
With two degrees in education and a barre & movement certification from the American Sports & Fitness Association, I’m capable of designing and teaching safe and appropriate stretch, conditioning, and fundamental exercises for your band that keep their posture aligned and their airways open.
As a former drum major, color guard captain, and 3-time WGI World Championship Finalist, I understand how important visual cohesion is to the music elements of your show. Plus, I’m the daughter of a high school band director, so I understand how your leadership and newest members affect the overall success of your program over time.
My bread and butter is technique, training, and program development. Whether I’m training your band members to condition properly, or training your top leaders / newest marchers on program philosophy, I’ll help you maximize your group’s potential.
